Our promise
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act
If you are a consumer in New Zealand, your purchase is covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a typewriter is faulty, not as described, or does not do what it should, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights apply regardless of any policy on this page, and nothing here limits them. The Fair Trading Act 1986 also protects you against misleading descriptions.
Faulty or incorrect items
If your typewriter arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us at theteam@customersupport.care with your order number and a photo if you can. We will put it right at no cost to you, and we cover return postage for faulty items.
Change-of-mind returns
If you simply change your mind, we are happy to help with a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery. The typewriter must come back unused and in resaleable condition, with its original packaging. For change-of-mind returns you cover the return postage, and we refund the price you paid for the item once it is back with us and checked.
How to return
Email us with your order number and we will send you simple return instructions. Please pack the machine as carefully as it arrived, since typewriters can be damaged in transit.
Refund timing
Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 working days of us receiving and checking the return.
